SAP System Administration
The SAP System Administration service covers the repetitive, preventative SAP system health and administrative checks required for an SAP system.
The service can be delivered as either a manual or semi-automatic service or as hybrid model.
| Manual: | An experienced CIBER Basis consultant will log onto the customer’s SAP systems daily, or at a frequency required by the customer, and perform a number of routine administrative tasks and checks, alerting the customer to any actions that may be required and suggesting any preventative actions to avoid reoccurrences. | |
| Semi-Automatic: | The customer’s SAP systems are configured to report any anomalies within the SAP system to CIBER’s support team. Once an alert is received, an experienced Basis consultant will log onto the customer’s system to further investigate the reported issue. | |
| Hybrid: | As with the semi-automatic option, CIBER’s actions are predominantly based upon alerts received from the customer’s SAP systems. However, in order to ensure robustness of the service, an experienced CIBER Basis consultant will also perform the manual service on a weekly, or as otherwise required, basis. |
In all models, the customer is provided with details of the alerts received and/or details of the work performed by the Basis consultant.
This service can be provided as an on-going service, an up-skilling/mentoring service for customer employees or as a gap-fill service to provide temporary relief for scheduled or unforseen leave requirements.
